Pioneer Certificate
Due to
popular demand we have expanded the Pioneer Certificate program.
The South Suburban Genealogical and Historical Society will issue three
categories of certificates to direct descendants of the early residents of Cook
or Will County, Illinois. For many
years these ancestors have gone unrecognized.
We hope that this certificate will be a source of pride for your family.
Please request a certificate for yourself, your children, grandchildren,
or others in their name.
These
certificates would make a great gift for birthdays or other occasions.
To qualify for a certificate, your direct ancestor must have settled in Cook or
Will County, Illinois during one of the following time frames.
Pioneer - 1880 and earlier
Settler - 1881 through 1900
Early Resident - 1901 through 1930
The certificate is printed on
parchment paper, has a gold seal and is suitable for framing.

the name/s of the descendant/s to go on the certificate/s. State the year
