   FREE QUICK SEARCH is available

Those seeking ancestors who may be buried in one of the 93 South Cook and North Will County cemeteries transcribed by SSGHS as part of its Cemetery Census Series may receive a quick lookup in our Master Index at no charge.  Please note that the Master Index does NOT give dates - only the name of the cemetery.  Please look at the listings (above) of the cemeteries and the locations before you make your request since we only have readings for cemeteries south of Chicago's southern boundaries.

INSTRUCTIONS for requesting a CEMETERY LOOK-UP.
FOLLOW this example of a CEMETERY LOOK-UP when submitting a request.

Instructions for requesting a CEMETERY LOOK-UP.

You may submit up to three surnames (plus one variant spelling of surnames).  The Subject line MUST contain CEMETERY LOOK-UP as in the example above for faster processing.  You MUST type the SURNAMES in the Subject Line between the (brackets) as in the example above.  Also type the SURNAMES in the body of the message.  Include additional information that may be helpful as in the example above.  Click here to fill out your request. CEMETERY LOOK-UP

Volunteers will process your request in the order received and as time allows.  We will check the Master Index for the SURNAME/S and reply to your E-mail.  If we find a surname, we will send you details on how to order photocopies (There is a charge to cover the cost of photocopying and processing).  Common surnames may be too numerous to list and, in that case, we will suggest that you order a copy of the Master Index page/s for that surname.
